Black, rigid frame with fixed armrests and a fixed footplate. A high backrest and separate headrest that can fold to support the sides of the head. Five different speeds with an electronic tilt-in-space feature and reclining backrest.
This wheelchair was a great help when I first received it because I initially relied on someone pushing me.
The tilt-in-space feature is excellent, and the reclining backrest is also very useful; however, the headrest has to be manually adjusted when reclined to be truly comfortable. But together features help with my health condition.
It is quite a narrow chair, which makes it good for manoeuvring and parking. It is rear-wheel drive, so it cannot turn as tightly as other wheelchairs.
However, the wheelchair can easily slip sideways on cambers and, over its five-year lifespan, it has really slowed down, become unreliable, and breaks down frequently. Therefore, I would no longer recommend it to others as I believe it’s outdated and there are better wheelchairs out there.
