CareCo Victory

The Verdict

Image of the 'CareCo Victory' mobility scooter. The bright design is accentuated by the frame in a light platinum metallic colour, contrasting the black front basket & seat.

4-wheel scooter, adjustable tiller and seat, swivelling seat, suspension, solid tyres, adjustable armrest width.

No idea, it has never run out on me. Knew the range was originally 20 miles on one charge, now it’s not but it’s still okay.

It gives me independence. It’s comfy-ish, although if you struggle to keep your arms outstretched, it’s less comfortable! It’s great on hills, generally incredibly sturdy, and has good suspension.

It’s not foldable or small enough to use on buses or trains, which is the major drawback for me. I can’t drive it far enough to get where I want to go because it’s too painful, and I also can’t use public transport, which is annoying. It’s okay in shops but not fantastic!

Taking it apart is pretty hard work and not at all portable. You can technically dismantle it, but it requires a lot of effort, and the pieces are SUPER heavy, especially the batteries.

Overall, it’s a great scooter for getting around town.
