Metallic purple solid frame, folding handles, tilt bar, and footplate. Along with a low-ish backrest, which I lowered further myself, and quick-release wheels, which I have swapped from the standard ones that came with the chair. I now go between some “off-road” wheels with chunky tyres that I rarely use, and my Loopwheel, which I treated myself to (after much debating with myself) in January 2018, and they are fabulous!

Having only been a full-time wheelchair user since May 2017, I am not really an expert, but my back becomes very painful after sitting in the chair for just a couple of hours. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m not used to sitting in the chair or if it’s the wheelchair itself, but I suspect the latter. I’d love to be able to have a bag or shopping stored on the chair, so I can carry things more easily at work, go shopping alone, and generally be more independent overall. However, there is a metal bar across the back of the chair, making fitting a bag difficult.
