Hey there 👋

I'm Felix

Fun Fact: I am Star Wars and Lego Mad 🧱

I am a Founder and Director of Access Your Life.

I am a highly motivated individual, with a constant desire to create innovative ways to gather the data needed to drive change. Coming from a scientific background means I understand the process of utilising complicated research methodologies to gather and present data.  In a data-centric world, it is also as much about standing out and simplifying your conclusions enough for policymakers, manufacturers and dealers to be able to action the change.

Further Medical Info:

My excellent organisational skills, analytical mindset and attention to detail are just a few assets that are enhanced by having dyslexia. Allowing me to extensively analyse market trends and customer needs when selecting a specific wheelchair for one of our AYL community. That, paired with my excess of energy, unwinding determination, and compulsive need for things to be as perfect as possible, makes me a person who cares deeply about every person we help. Therefore, handovers may take a while, but you can be confident that it is as good as it is ever going to be!

Putting it simply, I am the engine and brain behind how AYL works and is run. The person behind the camera and computer who ensures the AYL team keeps “Rolling” forward and in the right direction. I am fuelled by a passion for change which comes from the lived challenges of being in a inter-able relationship in an inaccessible world.

No is not a word in my vocabulary! I am a half-full type of person. There is always a solution, but we may just have to make some compromises. This again comes in handy when having a partner with a disability and an AYL community with outside-the-box needs.

I always carry a tool kit and love to problem solve, so if you are reading this and thinking no one can help, get in touch because the chances are I already may know the solution you need or be ready for my next hyper fixation.
