Powered wheelchair with two black front castor wheels, two black rear castor wheels, and two grey mid-wheel drive wheels. I had my chair sprayed hot pink, but this isn’t a standard option. But it still features the standard black seat with electric recline, tilt in space function, black swing-away leg rests, and a joystick controller with swing-away mount.
This wheelchair has been a saviour for my independence. I have been out so much since getting it, whereas before I was always trapped at home. It is extremely comfortable, and the tilt in space feature is an absolute lifesaver.
The narrow base and mid-wheel drive make it easy to get through doorways and onto buses once you feel comfortable with your space. Only when I hit a quite bumpy or high kerb does it tip or rock slightly, but it is extremely well balanced, and I have never felt unsafe in it.
The only thing I wish I had differently were the electric elevating leg-rests. There are so many adaptations for this chair, I would like to save up for them and get them installed at a later date, but for now, it is not a priority.
