The Verdict

Completely adjustable black crutches designed to wrap around your forearm instead of the bicep, upper arm, or underarm. Combined with a mini suspension that helps reduce the shock force from using crutches for a long period of time. They also help maintain a more upright posture.

Benefits:
As an ambulatory wheelchair user it was increasingly difficult to use old style crutches as they were starting to give RSI type strain injuries and I felt I was doing more harm than good.
These crutches have allowed me to minimise impact to my shoulders and wrists while also helping me to walk more efficiently.
Due to the goose neck design – it also helps with easier transfers and combined with the wide ferrule means more stability compared to regular crutch design.

Drawbacks:
Due to my disabilities I needed help with adjusting and fitting the forearm enclosure. (Allen keys and small bolts!)
I would advise some help when assembling.

Impact:
More confidence with transfers, feel more steady when moving without core / leg engagement, no more wrist or shoulder pain, improved posture.
