Having a movement disorder and cubital tunnel syndrome in both arms and wrists, which constantly cause damage for no known reason, meant I was finding crutches impossible to use. I also use a wheelchair most of the time, so I struggled to actually find a solution that could be quickly packed out of the way, as I can’t stand products lying around. I eventually decided to bite the bullet and risk buying the X-crutch from abroad.
The main advantage of the X-Crutch is that it’s retractable, which is more useful than you realise! It’s not just good for keeping the item compact and out of the way, but also because you canin its retracted form for transfers or reaching places where a full underarm crutch wouldn’t be suitable.
