A silver and black long backpack designed to sit on either the backrest or the back of your wheelchair frame.
I use this bag almost every day when travelling to and from college. It fits a 16-inch MacBook, several textbooks, a pencil case, lunchbox, phone, purse, and medical bag. It also holds my assistance dog’s blanket, bowl, and water at the same time.
The bag I chose is grey and black, so it matches everything, but they had other colours available. One thing I really like is that the inside is fluorescent orange, which makes it impossible to lose items in.
Inside the bag, the main compartment is split into three sections, including a padded area for a laptop and space for bank or business cards, pens, and accessories. Outside the bag, there is a large front pocket and a concealed back pocket, which is just large enough to fit an iPad or tablet.
It comes with two sizes of straps that can be used to either create smaller handles, large ‘backpack’ style handles, or a horizontal loop. There is also a fixed handle at the top and on the right side, both conveniently placed. The side handle is really helpful when removing the bag and putting it on your lap. The base of the bag is also reinforced for extra durability.
The only thing I would personally change is the straps, as the entire weight of the bag is going on my backrest, but this will depend on your chair and how you attach it.
As you can see from the images, the bag is quite messy from how much I’ve used it, but it hasn’t worn down, and with a quick scrub, it would look brand new again.
