“The Permobil C300 is red and in good condition. All functions are electric, and all work.
A wheelchair engineer from Motus Medical last examined the wheelchair in October 2022. The engineer said everything was in good working order, but the chair could use new tyres for the back and new castors for the front and armrests. The original owner who donated the chair to me was 5’7. I’m 4’8, and it turned out that altering the chair would be more expensive than I had hoped. As I need a standing wheelchair for the long term, I decided not to spend money on this wheelchair. The seat can be adjusted quite a lot with the seat that’s on it. From memory, I think we were 3cm from it fitting me, so if you’re average height, it can probably be altered to suit you as is, and the seat mentioned in the quote won’t be needed.
Since then, it has sat unused. I’m unsure how long the battery lasts, but it does move. It would cost approximately £700 to have the recommended work done. I can give you the details of Motus Medical and also have the quote for the proposed work. You can use another company if you prefer. Permobil is serviced by many companies, including Permobil themselves, but they tend to be more expensive.
It comes with its original charger. This has been used regularly and is in fantastic condition as I’ve used it with my daily wheelchair. Also included is the seat cushion that came with the chair. It looks to be in good condition, but I have never used it as it’s too high for me.”
