SmartDrive – Powered Attachment

Upgraded my MX2 to the MX2+ which in turn gave me the new band from Permobil.

Personal Opinion:
Some good benefits from the cool double tap feature and the fact I don’t have to put as much shoulder effort in. A single tap locks in the speed, and the double tap turns the SmartDrive off. I love using it, but there are some drawbacks including the battery life being very poor. It also takes such a long time to turn on, and the watch is very slow, especially when compared with other smart watches. Overall, I would really recommend the SmartDrive, but I wouldn’t recommend the smartwatch. Thankfully the MX2+ has a switch button that attaches to your wheelchair and can be used to control the device, either in combination with the watch or by itself.
