Personal Opinion:
The Salsa M2 drastically increased my quality of life because of its leg elevation and tilt in space features. It’s a good all-round chair, although I wish we paid extra to get the electric leg elevations as they can sometimes be hard to put down. You can get a lot of ‘extras’ on the chair, but the price can increase quite quickly for these features.

We selected this particular chair so we could take apart the backrest to fit in the car, which is possible, but it’s so heavy and difficult it isn’t worth it. Therefore, you definitely need a WAV to transport this chair. The battery is classed as a long-life battery and it typically lasts a long time, unless you go over hills etc. It copes well on most uneven surfaces/terrains, so you don’t have to worry about getting stuck on a little dip in the pavement or having to go around a stretch of grass.

Having a memory foam contour seat and headrest also help in these situations, as my body is well cushioned and continually supported. Overall I would recommend this wheelchair to others, as it is versatile and adaptable; however, you sadly need to pay a lot more to make it more user-friendly, comfortable and personalised.
