Personal Opinion:
There are several benefits including how lightweight and efficient this chair is. So much so that it has held up for over 5 years. I also recently added side guards for extra support, which have helped a lot, although they stick out a little when folded.

Other drawbacks include the standard footplate being quite low and the backrest folding mechanism being temperamental. Also, the lightweight wheels provided with my chair are not very sturdy but this can obviously be easily fixed.

Overall, a solid option as a lightweight wheelchair, just sadly not custom enough.
