Wheelchair Description:
The Ormesa Bug is a pushchair with postural support on a 4 wheel foldable base. Ours came with a shopping basket attached to the base and a hood with rain cover. We have a 5 point harness but it has different harness options available. It comes in different sizes ranging from approximately 2-3 and size 3-4, which is approximately from age 5-6!

Personal Opinion:
We started off with the Ormesa Bug size 1-2 and really liked it. Unlike most wheelchairs with postural support, it has a hood and rain cover. We love the fact that it could be quickly folded down, as it literally just comes in 2 parts – the chair and the wheelbase, so it will comfortably fit in a larger boot.
When we moved on to the size 3-4 it’s significantly larger and heavier. It works in exactly the same way, but on a bigger scale so it’s a bit bulkier and only just fits inside the boot of our Hyundai Tucson. However, the chair easily tilts in space and has a significant recline, which is really useful. It does OK off-road, but not brilliant! Although it’s definitely no so great on the sand!
One of the things I don’t really like on both models is the handle! This is because it’s fully adjustable and can fold down for space-saving, but it feels quite flimsy in comparison to the weight and sturdiness of the rest of the wheelchair.
