Personal Opinion:
I actually did the £20 trial via Loopwheels first, before buying them elsewhere. I didn’t know what to expect, but on top of having Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, my lower spine is crumbling; so I was really uncomfortable in my chair. I also struggle with weakened grip and weakened hands, but randomly strong arms. I really didn’t want to love them like I do!
The first place I trialled them was in the supermarket, and the first thing I noticed was how light my chair felt! Now I’m *cuddly* and don’t usually feel so light when pushing my chair, but I was zomming off around the supermarket just actively enjoying using them. It was a totally new experience and a bit of a wow factor for me. I found it so much easier to move myself around, so when I found an ex demo pair of Loopwheels for £1000 off the retail price, it was a no brainer!
I’ve since taken my loopwheels down by the river and paired them with my freewheel, which for me was a brilliant combo. Definitely an experience to try out if you can!
The Loopwheels company were also a pleasure to deal with whilst organising my trial, so I honestly can’t think of a bad point to say!
