Personal Opinion:
I would say the benefits are that it’s foldable and fits in a car boot. Plus if you are visiting friends or in a public space that has narrow doorframes etc, you don’t have to worry about getting stuck!
The only definite downside is that it’s uncomfortable to sit in for long periods and I would lose my independence if anything we to happen to it, as you can’t exactly have a spare one!
