LiveYou has teamed up with Access Your Life with one goal in mind - to vastly improve the independence and quality of life for those with physical disabilities. To achieve this, LiveYou specialises in helping you with two very important steps: 1. Helping you get the level of funding you are entitled to. 2. Using this funding to create a personalised PA support package, centred around you as an individual.
My name is Daniel Reed and I founded LiveYou because I know, first hand, that the right support package can be life-changing for someone with a physical disability, like myself. LiveYou doesn’t employ carers to simply “look after” you, we find PAs to help you with the physical tasks you can’t do yourself and who will fit in around your social life and future career. I started by employing traditional carers for myself who ticked all the ‘care’ boxes, but later I changed my approach to focus on the PA’s personality, positive outlook, and interests like mine, I found my quality of life improved significantly.
Most people can be trained to deliver personal care, but you can’t train somebody to enjoy the things you enjoy doing, get on with your friends, and naturally fit into your life. Setting up a support model that takes all these aspects into account can be a daunting task and there are often obstacles that can make life much harder. For example, getting the right funding from your local authority for your support needs, or finding the right PAs for you as an individual.
This is where LiveYou comes in. Through extensive knowledge of the laws surrounding disability, we ensure you receive the funding you need to live an independent and fulfilling life. Once we help you get that funding, we work closely with you to create a support model that is centred around you and your preferences as an individual. We help you find PAs who have similar hobbies and interests to you and, most importantly, who will fit in with your lifestyle.
LiveYou as a service is uniquely structured so that our interests are aligned with our client’s interests, so you can be confident your priorities in life will always be our priority too. The funding we acquire for our clients is held separately to LiveYou’s finances and clients keep all the choice and control they would have with their direct payments, without the need to organise everything themselves.
Speaking of aligned interests, this is the reason we have started an exciting new partnership with Access Your Life! Access Your Life and LiveYou have joined forces to help people with physical disabilities become more independent, engage with the community, and live life to the fullest!

Hi, I'm Lauren and I have been living with a collection of disabilities for the past 8 years. I initially had a passion for teaching children with special needs, but my health prevented me from pursuring my dream career. Despite this, I now love nothing more than sharing my experiences to help other people living with disabilities.
Hi, I’m Lori and was diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and a family of co-morbid conditions which has made life highly complex. However I constantly aim to make life as ‘normal’ and fulfilling as possible - and through this, I discovered the benefits of writing about my journey.
