Welcome to Access Your Life! We are thrilled to announce the launch of our website, which is now accessible to everyone. It's a surreal feeling to see our company logo pop up on Google after working on this project for so long. Since we announced the launch date, we've taken some time to reflect on our journey so far. It's been interesting to see how our initial idea has evolved, but it's also reassuring to know that our mission has remained the same through all the design changes.
Access Your Life is a platform that has been created with passion, determination, and appreciation for people living with a disability or medical condition, as well as their families and caregivers. Living with physical limitations can impact every aspect of one's day, and unless you have personally experienced it, nobody knows what it's truly like. That is why we have created a platform that is accessible to everyone, regardless of their diagnosis. Together, we can share knowledge and advice, review medical devices, discuss current affairs, and communicate with those who truly understand.
This part of the website is specifically designed to keep you updated with the latest news and developments in the disability and health sector. Along with publishing blog posts on a variety of subjects related to living with a disability, which will be written by our team members, community users, and guest writers from within the industry. For now, you can stay informed about our most recent posts by following us on social media as we share regular updates there.
We Are So Excited To See Where This Journey Takes Us!
Hi, I'm Lauren and I have been living with a collection of disabilities for the past 8 years. I initially had a passion for teaching children with special needs, but my health prevented me from pursuring my dream career. Despite this, I now love nothing more than sharing my experiences to help other people living with disabilities.
Hi, I’m Lori and was diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and a family of co-morbid conditions which has made life highly complex. However I constantly aim to make life as ‘normal’ and fulfilling as possible - and through this, I discovered the benefits of writing about my journey.
