Item Description:
A black power assist wheel that connects underneath the seat of your manual wheelchair, using either the main axle if you have a rigid frame or a removable axle bar if you have a folding frame. It also comes with a hand controller that attaches somewhere on the front of your frame to operate the device, which can either be mounted on the left or right side. It also has a useful app to adjust things like speed and to see where your battery life is at. Finally, the rear wheel has a handy charging port for your phone and the controller.
Battery Life:
About 6 hours if used all the time. I only use mine when out and about, so I can go about a week before it needs to be charged.
Source of Item:
It went through a company in the USA called NuMotion.
Diagnosis:
Spinal Cord Injury (SCI)
Personal Opinion:
I love mine, it’s great even on the grass! I particularly love that it does not require a watch of some sort. Although I wish It came with a carry case for travel, as I know they make one I just don’t know where to purchase it. Overall, it’s a great tool that I’d highly recommend!
