Item Description:
Cross-shaped towel with coloured water-absorbing fleece on one side and waterproof/non-slip backing on the other. The towel has a velcro strip so you can roll it up and keep everything folded, making it easier to transport. The fleece comes in a variety of different colours, and there is a version for powerchairs that goes higher at the back.

Personal Opinion:
I have not been able to visit a swimming pool for a long time due to the pandemic, but finally got a chance to try this towel while staying in a forest cabin with a private hot tub. The towel covers both your wheelchair seat and backrest, so you can get straight into your own wheelchair whilst wet.
For me, my wheelchair cushion must stay dry, as a wet cushion increases the chance of pressure sores enormously. Thankfully, this towel kept my chair completely dry! It’s the perfect way to get from the pool/hot tub to the shower, and would also come in handy when staying in hotels with a pool. This way, I don’t need to bring separate equipment for after the shower and can transfer straight from the bath/shower chair into my own wheelchair, without getting everything wet!
It’s a little larger than a normal towel, but this is necessary in order to cover the seating area on most wheelchairs. My chair is fairly narrow, but the towel doesn’t get stuck in the wheels due to the cross shape. I can also fold the excess towel over my lap for privacy.
