Diagnosis:
Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS)

Personal Opinion:
The benefits are that I can go places, but I must be accompanied by a person who can push me around as it is hard to propel this chair. However, the footrests are higher than some wheelchairs, which enables me to go along paths without catching my feet.

The disadvantages are that it is uncomfortable to sit in for long periods of time, even with a padded cushion. When going over uneven ground, you feel every bump in the path/road, and you sometimes have to go down dropped kerbs backwards in order to then get up them.

Overall it has improved my quality of life because without it, I wouldn’t be able to go long distances or on holiday. Although for my condition I would not recommend it, but that doesn’t mean someone else may find it beneficial depending on their needs.
