Personal Opinion:
This is a large chair and really needs to be transported in a WAV, as it is very heavy and cumbersome. I do not use public transport, so cannot comment on how easy it is to get into tight spaces; however, I can’t imagine having any issues. I genuinely love this chair apart from the fact that I had a pin put on the base for a car docking system, meaning the ground clearance was lowered to an unacceptable level for me; a Dahl docking system would have been preferable. The elevating leg facility, along with the recline function makes it easy to regularly change position to avoid pressure sores. The current batteries last approximately 15 miles depending on terrain, maybe more for someone who weighs less than me!

This chair makes me feel safe and comfortable, so I would definitely recommend it. At the time of purchase, it was classed as ‘nearly new’, as the previous owner had only used it for a few hours! Because of this, the cost was considerably cheaper than if I had bought a brand new model or gone through Wheelchair Services and used their voucher scheme.
